As promised yesterday, I spent the 3 hours alloted to work by Benjamin Franklin to discover how he defined "powerful goodness". Alas, it was not enough time, and so rather than give you Benjamin Franklin's definition of powerful goodness, or just simple goodness, I am giving you another quote by him. I have not abandoned the plan to learn how he defined goodness, it will just take me longer than 3 hours. Keep checking back, one day it will be here on Quotidiannee.

My first memory of the power of words was recognizing that "T E R R O R" not only meant 'terror' but that the letters strung together as they are enough to instill terror. There are so many words out there, there is so much being said, and so much of it is being recorded and then accessible at a moment's notice. Given all he did in his lifetime, the almanac, the post office and fire station as public offices, and the quotes that inspire, I think his life works are what define his definition of a good life. What life works of his may many of us not even be aware of? I'm going to explore that one too. Thanks!!
